This post will be somewhat different as it is being written half way through a day. I'm pretty much the last one here now as my flight isn't until 22:10.
I haven't posted my change in travel plans until now but I'm going to New Zealand earlier than expected and for longer than I had originally planned. After hearing about the Amazon trip during this tour two months of it didn't sound like such a good plan (also I have spent more than expected in Ecuador...). Therefore I canceled that trip and gave myself more time in other places. Of course canceling so late meant that changing flights was difficult and so I'm going on a truly epic journey.
Santiago to Auckland via... LA. That's right, I'm going in the wrong direction. As a result I leave tonight on the 5th and with the change in date occurring I'll get to NZ on the 8th.
Fun times.
Edit: When I arrived at the airport I was informed that my flight to LA had been delayed until 11am tomorrow. When I informed them that I'd miss my next flight as a result they put me on a flight straight to Auckland tonight...
