11/12/09 - Stuff, Only Bigger

On our journey today we stopped off several times to look at a few things. The first of which was a pair of very tall trees. There aren't a huge number of these left in New Zealand as they were used as the mast on tall ships. They're trying to get them going again now though.

Next we stopped to see a giant Lemon and Paeroa bottle. This is the national soft drink in New Zealand and due to its popularity Coca Cola bought it (just like Inca Cola in Peru).

When we arrived at the holiday park we were staying at the sky was overcast and it was raining. With all the greenery around as well it reminded me very much of Scotland.

For dinner tonight a group of us organized spaghetti bolognese with salad and garlic bread. I once again helped prepare this. I never imagined I'd enjoy preparing food...
