3/12/09 - The Last Supper

It was our last bus journey today. Part of me is relieved that I wont be on another one for a while, but at the same time I'm sad that this tour is coming to an end. There have been some rough patches but in general it had been excellent and I really like the group I'm with. Oh well.

After having a brief look around the city (it is beautiful save for the smog on the horizon) we went out for our last meal as a group. We ate outside and all throughout the meal could hear music coming from a little bit further over. The Bee Gees and other music from that time.

Once we had eaten we went to find out where it was coming from and found an incredible live band playing them all. They were all brilliant with their instruments but the two singers were fantastic. The male could get the full range required for the songs and the woman had a very powerful voice. They looked like they were enjoying themselves immensely.

Almost as good as the band was the really drunk guy behind us going all out with his dancing. He was remarkably good too. It was a good way to end the tour.

Note: The servings of alcohol here are massive. That is a 250ml glass they filled half way with whiskey to provide Rob with his whiskey and coke.
