Today I met the group I will be spending varying amounts of time with. The tours operate using a modular system so depending on what parts of the trip a person is doing they will join up with or leave the group at various places. I'm doing the full 35 day tour so I'll be meeting a lot of people.
Our tour leader is a Peruvian named Miriam. Maureen and Margaret are two 50 somethings from Canada (I met them first and was beginning to worry for a moment). Both are very well travelled. Next came Rodica and Silviu (who goes by his middle name Paul), a young couple from Romania. Later on I met Rob, a young Australian guy, and then finally Jurgen, a Belgian living in New York.
This is the group I will be spending at least the next two weeks with.
Miriam gave us a tour around central Lima and then we had dinner before turning in.
