So there I was, minding my own business when BAM! I had a car, a full time job and am looking for a house to live in for the next five months.
Go figure.

I now work for Vac to the Future, a company that specialises in removing pre existing insulation and replacing it with stuff that actually works. My job is to drive around in a smart car (automatics are ridiculously easy to drive) and measure peoples' houses so we can send them a quote for how much the work will cost. By far the best part of the job is my 4m telescopic ladder. I have yet to come across a customer that hasn't marvelled at it. Thankfuly Canberra is the easiest city ever to navigate given a basic map. I doubt it will take too long before I don't even need that.
All I need to do now is find a house share to live in. I've checked the prices and found them to work out a lot better than staying at a hostel for the whole stay.
