... Australia is ridiculously hot. Every time I leave an air conditioned place it is like walking into a furnace. My body does not appreciate 40 degrees Celsius and I look longingly at the pictures of Scotland covered in snow. I'm sure I'll get used to it*.
I'm in Canberra now looking for work. With the sheer number of bars and restaurants around here there has to be something, but if not I'll move on to Melbourne. This city is pretty nice, though.
I went to see Avatar 3D today on Daryl's recommendation. It was awesome. The plot is, as mentioned by nearly everyone, entirely unoriginal (Fern Gully sprang to mind) but I've never seen it done better. The world they created is stunning. I recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it yet.
*I'm really not.
